My Experience With Mangosteen Capsules

I suffer from Diabetes Mellitus, Parkinson’s disease and Chronic Back Pain The first one is well under control but the next two were not. I have most of the classic symptoms of Parkinson’s disease such as tremor in my right arms which was getting quite prominent and makes it almost impossible for me to type and use an computer, twitching and freezing in my legs, mask like facial expression, festinate gait and bradykinesia

There was also the side effect of the drugs that I was taking for my Parkinson’s such as depressed moods, anxiety, sudden sleep onset sessions, constipation, hallucinations, nightmares and the onset of dementia and loss of sex life (Sildenafil as no effect on me).I also suffer from the irritating runny nose almost every day since my late teens.

Last October 2005, my Neurologist changed my medication from Sellegline to Madopar and Broflex syrup. At that time, the tremor in my right arms was getting very pronounced.

I first got in contact with the Mangosteen capsule when I went on holiday to the Philippines. That was December 2005. On the last week of my holiday there, I finally met my old school mate who is now a medical practitioner. He was quite shock ed and very concerned with my physical condition. The combine effect of all my Parkinson’s symptoms plus the hunchback posture that I have due to my Lumbago all conspired to gave me that most pitiful and pathetic look.

Two days before my departure back to London, he came to see me again and handed me a case containing 70 boxes of Dr Alfred’s Pure Mangosteen capsules. I was quite familiar with the Mangosteen fruit itself being one of my favourite fruit next to Durian and Marang, but this was my first encounter with the Mangosteen capsule. All he told me was that Mangosteen capsule is a very powerful anti-oxidant and that I should take it with the concurrence of my GP and Neurologist. I was already taking anti-oxidant in the form of Co-enzyme Q10 so I said yes I will take it, having realized that not only was it cheaper but free as well. The good Doctor did not charge me for it.

Back in London, I finally got the sack from my employers due to the debilitating effect of my combine illnesses. On the 3rd of January 2006, I started to take the Mangosteen capsule in conjunction with my usual medications without telling my GP and Neurologist. On the 12th of January 2006, after continuously taking a very high dose of the Mangosteen capsule, I notice that the tremor in my right arm has subsided a bit. The next day, I went to see my Neurologist and reported the matter to him. He was quite surprised with the Mangosteen but was very please with the result. He also told me to double the dose of the Madopar tablets which I did. On the 10th of February 2006, I woke up to find that the tremor in my right arm was gone. Disappeared completely. Looking at me then, one would be hard pressed to recognised me as one who was suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Since that day, I rarely experience Depression, hallucinations, sudden sleep onset sessions, nightmares as well as my irritating runny nose. And my sex life is back in the sense that I now respond to Sildenafil. My outlook in life seemed to be on the positive side now and I seemed to be full of energy. My usual form of exercise is strolling up and down my local high street with the aid of my walking stick. Occasionally, I go to the West End of London for a bit of window shopping and a spot of Sushi afterwards.

I honestly believed that Dr Alfred’s Pure Mangosteen capsule is beneficial to my well being in general and my Parkinson’s in particular in the sense that the tremor in my right arm which is one of the main symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease is gone. I still suffer from Parkinson’s disease.

UPDATE: 24 JUNE 2009

I have been taking Dr Alfred’s Mangosteen Capsule for the last 3 years and 5 months now and have never suffered any bad side effects. I maintain a therapeutic dose which is quite high.The tremor in my right arm has not come back and I hope and pray to God it never will. My Parkinson’s is now entering the middle stage and true to form, my situation has gone from bad to more bad (not yet worst). I now suffer from postural imbalance, bradykinesia, festinate gait and due to prolong use of L-Dopa (Madopar) dyskinesia as well. My Neurologist has now changed my medication to Mirapexine and Stalevo.

All things considered and in spite of my physical difficulties, my outlook in life is still the same, on the positive side. I now walk with two crutches instead of just one walking stick but I still persist on doing my usual daily exercise. My energy level is still on the full side. I honestly believed that this is due to my continuous intake of Dr Alfred’s Pure Mangosteen Capsule and lately, Dr Alfred’s Pure Mangosteen Tea as well.
